The room at Tortuguero Casa Pelican was amazing! It had air conditioning, which was a big relief for me as someone with physical handicaps. The private bathroom with a shower was also a big plus, and the free toiletries and hairdryer were a nice touch. The tile/marble floor gave the room a clean and modern look, and I loved having a private entrance and a balcony. The bed linen was comfortable and made me feel right at home.
Personally, I found the patio in the double room a bit small. It's just my opinion though, others may still enjoy it.

I had a fantastic time staying at Casa Pelican in Tortuguero. As a solo traveler, Ladina and Lolo were incredibly helpful and made me feel right at home. The rooms were modern and spacious, with a lovely balcony and a comfortable Tempur-Pedic mattress. The rooftop terrace was a great spot to relax and birdwatch. Ladina arranged excellent tours with knowledgeable guides, and Lolo took me on a memorable canoe trip through the canals. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the beach and close to restaurants and stores. I highly recommend staying at Casa Pelican!
